Rugby League World Cup 2026 at Club Stockton

Staff and patron manual

Everything this calendar can do, in the order a bartender or a Kangaroos fan would use it. Print this page or keep it behind the bar.

Section 1

What this app is

A full fixture list for Rugby League World Cup 2026 — men’s, women’s and wheelchair — with every group game and every final. Kick-off is shown in Stockton time so Club Stockton can put the game Live on the BIG Screen without converting clocks at the bar.

  • Name on the site: Rugby League World Cup 2026 at Club Stockton.
  • Covered tournaments: Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair.
  • Dates: 15 October to 15 November 2026.
  • Fixtures follow the official RLWC 2026 draw (announced November 2025).

Section 2

Live on the BIG Screen

Any listing involving Australia, and every finals match (all three tournaments), is marked Live on the BIG Screen at the club.

  • Banner on the card: “Live on the BIG Screen at Club Stockton” plus a link to ClubStockton.com.au.
  • The same link sits on the card footer and in the match detail sheet.
  • Filter Live on the BIG Screen shows only those nights — Australia group games plus the full knockout set.
  • Filter Australia pathway keeps group games involving Australia and the knockouts Australia can still reach.

Section 3

Finding a game

Use the sticky bar under the hero. Filters combine. If the list goes empty, tap Clear filters.

  • Calendar — October and November month grids. Dates with games are marked. Tap a date to fill the Selected day panel.
  • List — every matching game in date order, with full cards.
  • All games / Live on the BIG Screen / Australia pathway / My calendar — who the list is for.
  • Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair — one tournament at a time, or all.
  • All stages, Group, Finals — group games, knockouts, or both.
  • Group dropdown — Men’s Pool A, Men’s Pool B + C, Women’s A/B, Wheelchair A/B. Picking a group jumps to the List and shows that pool’s ladder plus fixtures. It also clears the search box so England + Pool A cannot wipe the list.
  • Find a game — type a team, city or venue (for example New Zealand or Brisbane). Use the X to clear. Searching switches to List.
  • Tap a card (not the add button) to open the full match sheet: Stockton time, local time, venue, group, stage and notes.

Section 4

Colours on the cards

  • Yellow — Australian men’s games (Kangaroos).
  • Light blue — all other men’s games.
  • Women’s and wheelchair cards stay on the dark club surface.
  • Men’s Pool B + C ladder: cyan stripe = Pool B (England, Lebanon, Samoa); magenta stripe = Pool C (France, PNG, Tonga).

Section 5

Groups and finals

Men’s Pool A is a normal four-team group: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands.

Men’s Pool B + C is one combined crossover draw. Those six teams only play B v C. The official site treats them as one table — so do we. Top two go through to the semi-finals.

Women’s and wheelchair each have Pool A and Pool B (four teams). The Pools block at the bottom of the home page repeats the same groups — tap View games to list them.

Finals (semi-finals, ranking finals, third-place and the final) are all Live on the BIG Screen. Pathway ties stay TBC until the group tables are decided.

Section 6

My calendar

Personal picks, not the full World Cup list.

  1. Open any game card.
  2. Tap Add to my calendar.
  3. Confirm: “This action will add [teams] to your personal calendar.” If you are not signed in, tick the disclaimer first.
  4. Tap Add this game.

The app then opens My calendar on that date. Saved cards show “In your calendar” and a Remove link when you are viewing My calendar.

  • Signed in (Google or X) — games stay with the account. Close the browser or sign out; they come back when you sign in again.
  • Guest — games stay on this device for now. You lose them if you clear the browser or leave without signing in. Sign in later and those games move onto the account.
  • Remove all listings — tap twice to confirm.
  • My calendar has its own Calendar and List views. Other filters (England, Pool A, and so on) do not hide your saved games.

Section 7

Google, Apple and Outlook

Once games are on My calendar, use Send these games to push them to a phone or work calendar. Reminders (30 minutes before, and so on) are set in those apps — this site does not send SMS or email pings.

  • Google Calendar — downloads a file and opens Google’s Import page. Choose that file to add every saved game.
  • Apple Calendar / iPhone — downloads a .ics file. Open it to add the games.
  • Outlook — same .ics file for Outlook / Hotmail.
  • Download .ics — generic file for any calendar that accepts one.
  • On each saved card: one-tap Google, Outlook, Yahoo, or Apple / .ics for that match only.

Section 8

  • Sign in from the header: Google or X.
  • Email and password is planned, not on yet.
  • Facebook and Instagram are not available on this sign-in service.
  • Use the same account next time if you want the same My calendar.

Section 9

Times and venues

  • Primary clock: Stockton AEDT (UTC+11).
  • If the ground is in another zone (Brisbane AEST, Perth AWST, Auckland NZDT, Port Moresby PGT) the card also shows local kick-off.
  • Each card lists stadium and city. Newcastle games note the double- and triple-headers.

Section 10

Club Stockton

Official site colour for men’s Pool B + C is a single six-team table. This calendar matches that. Email / password sign-in and a fuller SQL host for personal calendars are parked for a later pass.
